Sayaka Kitsuya from Japan won the first tournament of the 2023 season of the Jump Tour, the third part of the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) tour.
Kitsuya made 5 birdies and 3 bogies in the final 2nd round of the KLPGA Baekje CC-Samdaein Red Ginseng Ball Jump Tour 1st leg (total prize money 30 million won) held at the Baekje Country Club (par 72, 6,258 yards) in Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do on the 12th. He tied and shot 2-under-par 70.스포츠토토
Kitsuya, who recorded a final total of 3 under par 141 strokes, reached the top by one stroke over runners-up Han Ji-min and Bae Seo-yeon (2 under par 142 strokes). The winning prize is 4.5 million won.
Kitsuya, who knocked on the door of the Korean stage at the recommendation of an acquaintance who played a round together last winter, enjoyed the joy of winning the first Korean competition.
The KLPGA is providing foreign players with opportunities to challenge by fully opening the Associate Member Tournament and the Jump Tour.
Kitsuya said, “Actually, I was trying to decide whether to run the jump tour in Japan or continue the challenge in Korea, but I made up my mind when I won unexpectedly.” I will do my best to win the qualification,” he said.
