“I was able to record multi-hits because I gained confidence because the hits kept coming out after not coming out.”

NC Dinos’ ‘Super Rookie’ Park Han-gyeol (outfielder) shared his impressions of achieving his first hit, RBI, run score, and multi-hit at the same time in his debut.

Park Han-gyeol, who made his professional debut this season after graduating from Gyeongbuk High School, scored 2 hits, 1 RBI, and 2 runs in 5 at-bats, including doubles in the 1st and 5th innings, in an away match against Lotte at Sangdong Stadium in Gimhae on the 13th. NC defeated Lotte 12-7 and escaped from a six-game losing streak. 스포츠토토

After the game, Park Han-gyeol said on the club’s Futuresteam official Instagram, “I wanted to change the atmosphere somehow because the team was losing the game despite all the players working hard.”

He continued, “I’ve been feeling bad these days, so I thought I’d just look at the ball at the plate and swing, but it felt good and he scored his first hit. He added that he was able to record multi-hits because he was confident because he kept getting hits after not coming out.”

Park Han-gyeol said, “From Camp 1 to Camp 2, I think I put a lot of pressure on myself. I’m not a great player, but so many people cheered me on and expected me. So I think there was a lot of impatience to create more results.”

He also said, “Recently, as in Camp 2, I am exercising by supplementing other parts with accuracy while trying to do better in the parts I am good at rather than reinforcing what I lack.”

Park Han-gyeol said, “I played the game today, but I feel that I lack a lot in terms of experience. He doesn’t have much experience with pitchers on professional teams, and he thinks he should be good at counting at bats, but he doesn’t seem to be able to do that. I thought I needed to practice more so that I could go to the advantage in the count fight.”

Regarding the goal for this season, “My goal is to finish this season without getting sick. And if the opportunity arises, even one game is good, so I want to get a chance to go up to the N team,” he concluded the interview. /what@osen.co.kr
