Professional soccer K League 2 Busan I-Park announced on the 8th that it had appointed Lee Han-do (29, photo) as captain for the 2023 season.

Lee Han-do, who made his professional debut at Jeonbuk Hyundai in 2016, joined Busan in July of last year after going through Gwangju FC and Suwon Samsung. The Busan club revealed the background of the appointment, saying, “Lee Han-do, who has shown outstanding leadership on and off the field, will hold the center of the team aiming for promotion this season based on his rich experience.”

Lee Han-do said, “It is a new feeling to be the captain. Although he is lacking, he will become a player who devotes himself and sacrifices himself for the team.”

Meanwhile, Busan recruited Choi Ki-yoon (21), a midfielder who played for Ulsan Hyundai. Choi Ki-yoon, a graduate of Kaesong High School, a youth team in Busan, is considered a promising player as he was recently selected for the under-23 Olympic team.

Busan leaves for winter field training in Chiang Mai, Thailand on the 9th, and begins quenching in preparation for the new season.
