Ha-Sung Kim (28, San Diego) takes a moment to catch his breath.
On July 13, Kim sat out a Major League Baseball (MLB) game against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, USA.
San Diego manager Bob Melvin gave Kim, who hasn’t played in a game since July 9 against the New York Mets in more than two months, time to recharge his batteries.
“Manager Bob Melvin told Kim the day before (July 12) that he was going to give him a break,” said local media outlet The San Diego Union-Tribune.먹튀검증
It was a much-needed break for Kim, who has been on a tear this season. After hitting .337 in July, Kim’s batting average was at its peak, but he’s struggled through August (0.273) and September (0.195).
Without Ha-Sung Kim, San Diego fell to the Dodgers 2-11 as starter Michael Wacha was roughed up for seven runs in four innings.
