Enso Fernandez, who currently boasts the highest ransom in the Premier League, has entered London.

Enso confirmed his transfer to Chelsea one hour before the transfer window deadline on the 1st (Korean time).

His contract period is 8 and a half years until the summer of 2031, and the transfer fee is 121 million euros (approximately 162.2 billion won), breaking the highest transfer fee in the Premier League.

Enso moved to Benfica from his home country Argentina last summer and has been reborn as the highest paid Premier League player in just half a year since entering the European stage.

As a defensive midfielder, he appeared in 17 Portuguese Liga games this season, recording one goal and five assists, showing his talent for advancement. He also scored 2 goals in 4 matches in the UEFA (European Football Confederation) Champions League qualifiers.

It was thanks to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar that Enso received more attention. His star-studded performance in the World Cup, his first for Argentina, has skyrocketed his ransom. He lifted the World Cup trophy with Lionel Messi and also won the tournament’s Young Player Award.  스포츠토토

Enso went to work at Cobham, the Chelsea training ground, on the morning of the 1st, immediately signed the contract and started training. He prepares to make his Premier League debut wearing the number 5 shirt of Jorginho, who has left for Arsenal.

Enso said in his first interview with the Chelsea club, which was released on the 2nd, “I am happy to come to Chelsea and the club has done their best to allow me to be a part of this project.” I am happy and excited to compete for the team. I want to quickly help my teammates and play in front of the fans.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea will face Fulham in the league at 5am on Saturday at Stamford Bridge. Enso prepares for his debut in a Chelsea shirt at home.
